Authentically Her

Annie Jiménez is the Nine Eleven of Genuine Friendship. Always attentive to all her villages. Always ready to embrace you with her gaze, to listen to inventions, or to develop creative solutions.

She is the middle child of two much-loved sisters. She is the glue between Elena, the eldest, and the youngest, Vivi. At just over five decades old, she maintains that the truth is always right. And that paths open with sincere speech.

This character constitutes the DNA of the three sisters. Sisters who are a lifeline to their parents—no matter the circumstances of life. Annie is sincere, distracted, fun, and patiently fiery, a consequence of a learned model.

She is only disturbed by unmistakable challenges. She accepts them without fail and faces them with courageous anxiety because she knows that everything has a way out. She overcomes them with cunning persistence. “Perhaps the solutions aren’t as quick as I would like, but I continue to live with optimism and gratitude for being surrounded by a unique family.”

She thinks that if she had been more disciplined, she would have completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology—but Freud’s course was at dawn, and in her early adulthood, the maturity alarm was somewhat silent.

But life is the best school, and as a young mother, she learned to cope with experiences that make her tenaciously practical. With a good work ethic, she joined her mother in the real estate firm.

Working alongside her mother until she retired—she is now self-employed—was a school of hospitality. “I learned to see clients as family. In the office, meetings were held over homemade lunches. We cooked for an extended family. That’s who we are. We enjoy making others feel at home, with a lot or a little.”

She then worked marathon hours in commercial leasing, while raising her oldest daughter with the dedication only a mother and father possess. Aside from her parents’ support, she was fortunate that when her second child was born, her eldest daughter became an excellent sister and caregiver.

That eldest daughter, Mariana, began veterinary studies right away, and her son, Adrián, graduated in 12 months. They graduated her from life, and Annie graduated them. They are a modern family of Good People—no glitter, no glitter. Transparent as they should be.

That’s her family tribe, but her friendship with other sister communities has widespread networks. Her charisma is a magnet. She is extraordinary in everyday life.

Need help cooking, medicine, to talk about a setback, or to have a good time? Annie is there. And, when it comes to the culinary world, it’s worth noting that she makes appetizers and gourmet desserts in seconds. She is magical in her kitchen. Love and enjoyment must be her sauce.

That same affection, that generosity toward her family, her childhood friends, and more recently, the beach tennis and pickleball community, extends her to her worlds.

In the sports community, Annie is the mara-cachimba, and its members know it. She’s ZoiLA – THE one who books; THE one who coordinates; THE one who produces the entire alphabet.

Sharing with Annie is enjoyable. She’s a unique human being. A reliable Nine Eleven – you ‘mark’ her, and empathy always responds to YOU.
